Floppy Drive (A:\) issue during Registry Cleaner fix

I have my floppy drive (A:\) included in the global Ignore list (yes, I still have a floppy drive on my PC ), but when I run the Registry Cleaner and then use the "Fix" option, the floppy is connected during the entire process... i.e., you can hear the floppy drive clicking away. This is on my Vista Ultimate 32-bit system. Is there a way to prevent the floppy from being accessed?

Also add A:\ to the Global Ignore List.

Yes, that's the first thing I did as stated in my OP. It has always worked in previous versions, but not in 2011... at least for me.

Confirmed on my XP SP2 desktop. I guess I've just ignored the floppy drive chatter before, but during Registry Cleaner Fix, the floppy drive is active at least part of the time. Adding A:\ to the Global Ignore List did nothing.

This issue should be fixed in the next released build. Using the Global Ignore List is the correct method, using the Ignore List feature of the Registry Cleaner doesn't affect the Fix feature in any ways (only the scan results).

Sorry to report but the latest version 2.0.0.1009 still has this problem of the floppy drive, in my case A:\. I do have A:\ entered into the Global Ignore list.

I have had the same problem just with this last version, (XP SP3) also the processing was very slow: I put a blank formatted disk in the floppy drive - the repeated noisy access tries stopped and processing was much faster. BTW I also had put A:\ in global exclude.
