Sorting in the Software Uninstaller

In the Software Uninstaller, there is a column "Installation date".

But since the date is given as DD/MM/YYYY (whatever the preferences given in the Settings > Advanced > Default Date Format), the sorting fails.

It would be a very useful thing to get this sorting work.

By the way, instead of the two sections "Installed software with uninstall info" and "Installed software without uninstall info", I would greatly prefer to get only one section, but with a supplementary column (Uninstall info, with values Yes or No for instance).

More than "very useful" I would say this is ESSENTIAL and am surprised it still doesn't work.

Or is there a way to make that column YYYY-MM-DD? I have changed the Default Date Format under Advanced setting but that doesn't change the Uninstaller display.

The list (and the sorting) should be improved in PowerTools 2012:

Thanks Vasek for that, I hope this will be the case. Sorting by date can be very important when trying to troubleshoot problems on a PC.

Not only does sorting still not work, neither does the Settings > Advanced > Default date format. I tried setting to YYYY-MM-DD HH and this had no impact on the "Installation date" format in the SW Uninstaller.

Almost a year later, why is this so hard to get right...
