License Error

I updated from JVPower toos 2010 to 2011. V2011 does not see the license key, I have tried placing the xbin file on the desktop, in MyDocuments and in the Root Drive (not all at the same time. If I try auto find I get an error message that the file cannot be located, if I use install new license the error message is either it is not a JV power tool license or it is corrupt. I managed to get a hold of online chat on Friday got another license key BUT same problem, have had no luck getting an answer from email or online tech support. Anyway know of a fix for theis?

I've been using power tools since it was a free version about 10 years, never had a problem like this, and usually tech suport is fast.

Hope there is a way to get my upgrade registered;)

I had some problem also. As I did in the past I put the license file everywhere without luck.

Looking for help file (help on Jv16 start-window) I had seen a new command "license tools" with

a sub-window "install new license"

Typing the new license Jv16 finally recognized the xbin file.

I've got the same problem. I wrote to support on monday the 21 of february. No return until now. I hope I receive a valid key before the end of the trial period.

I'm having exactly the same problem as the others in this thread. And with all due respect, Leonardo, that other thread you're directing us to has nothing to do with this problem, all postings there relate to delays in receiving the license file, not to problems with the license after receipt which is what we're trying to clear up here. Pretty please?

But anyhow, it is up to jv16 to respond to this forum thread!

I think we should use this thread: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4312 to report also cases of license received but not working.

Please repost your issue to that thread if the problem still occurs. I'm closing this one.
