XP-SP3 with v2.0.0.998(beta5):
Just for the purpose of stress testing, to see if jv16PT-beta5 breaks under heavy loads, I ran 'Duplicate File Finder' on my c:\ disk, analyzing files *.*
The 1st step found >79.000 files, to be analyzed for duplicate files in the 2nd step.
This 2nd step never completed (waited >4 hours), the progress bar kept hanging at ~35% progress with ongoing processing, using 30-50% of my 1.85Ghz Dual Core
I ran the same test with a free program that only does Duplicate File finding.
That program took 6.5 minutes to complete the test, but scanned just 33.765 files and found 5.479 original files and 16.733 duplicates.
