I'm sorry for the repost. I should have read the forum. This does, however, confirm the issue on a Win7 X86 machine.

Version 2.0.0.998 with x64 Windows 7

Software Uninstaller: these products, appearing in the Programs and Features control panel, do not appear in any form in the Software Uninstaller results list:

Java(TM) 6 Update nn

Java(TM) 6 Update nn (64-bit)

There are a few others related to device driver software.

Question: is it a temporary design decision to omit most Microsoft products from the results until later?

XP-SP3 with v2.0.0.998(beta5):

EDITED: 5 AV exceptions occur, not 4!

DEBUG -> start the 'Program Debug Tool' -> 5 Access Violations do occur (after 4x clicking Continue Application), but in the end the 'Program Debug Tool' starts OK!

Your right tullik it are actually 5 AV exceptions in a row, not 4. I have updated my original post.

Windows 7 x64 Professional, PT Build 998

Clean and Fix crashed while performing a FIX. Logs attached. The FIX crash is 100% repeatable on these History items. It can REMOVE them okay. Note that this crash problem is new...not in previous builds.

Removed from the Release Notes, also the line about the missing icon from File Tool, the icon is now there.

*** Click the "Verify my downloads ..." icon

*** When the Malware feature download starts, click the abort button

*** An immediate "Error downloading URL: http://www.macecraft.com/services/anti-malware/AntiMalware0.dat" exception occurs

With normal settings and "Base directory" option:

The lists initially appear fully expanded; it would be more efficient if they appeared collapsed.

"Save list as ..." files and debuglog are in the attachment.

True, this line has now been removed from the Release Notes.

Software Uninstaller shows the Opera icon for Opera widgets, but they usually have their own icon in the executable.

I'm replacing the above item in my checklist with this more accurate one:

Software Uninstaller shows the Opera icon for Opera widgets, but the one actually used by the widget (and Programs and Features) is defined by the DisplayIcon entry in the widget's Uninstall key.

Specifically, the icon showing in Programs and Feature and used by the widget itself is defined by this key/entry/data:

Key=HKCU\
blah blah blah
\Uninstall\widgetname

Entry=DisplayIcon

Data=path to the icon file actually used

This is definitely just a cosmetic issue! :
