jv16 PowerTools 2010 updated (build 986)
What I really meant is this: as to me it's rather funny that PT 2010november
(I meant it took almost a year to arrive at this point and that's rather a long term)

Do you get the point? Never mind.....

This is the point I am trying to make, "build 986 without the screen flickering issue" should, as many end users have wished, have been released around August 2010!
But jv16PT 2010 was a major overhaul which probably took much more development work than jv16 initially estimated.
All together Macecraft did a great job, but as end user I still wish for a final 2010 jv16PT build that fully meets: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4262&start=30#p26428

I agree. We had to take a huge step with PT 2010 in order to get the code base more simple and easier to maintain. It's now done and PT 2011 will show that by bringing less new features and more stability and performance.
redseujac wroteI wish Macecraft good luck with version 2011, BUT I hope also that it will be really a version 2011 and not an almost 2012. You have to agree that the past few years it took each time months and months before the users had a "final" version at their disposal. It's not the first time this happens as with 2010.
That's true and I agree with you. I brought up the 2010 version just because I think the problem was very visible there, it was a huge task to complete and it took much longer than expected.
Hello
Your program is very useful and necessary to the PC for, but keep getting one mistake, it began with the 2010 version ...
when I try to see information about the program through the menu (Menu -> About), the program hangs and not responding to requests, we have to kill the process through task manager ...
when I try to see information about the program through press F12, then the program just closes itself completely, with no error message
Thank you
Do you have the same issue with other tools of jv16 PowerTools 2010?
Which version of jv16 PowerTools 2010 do you use? The latest version is build 986.
2) All
3) 2.0.0.986
If you do, try do disable it or add jv16 PowerTools 2010 to the exceptions.
Uninstall jv16 PowerTools 2010 completely and install it again using the new download.
V.2.0.0.986
Here's a relatively minor bug involving the program's application of translations:
- 1. You start a PowerTools session in one language.
2. You start the History Cleaner and end it.
3. You change the language.
4.
In the same session, you start the History Cleaner again. 5.
That tool's menu bar still shows the first language, not the newly chosen one.6. The bug possibly exists only for the History Cleaner.
7. The menu bar translates OK in the lists of File Tool, File Finder, and Registry Finder. Those are the only ones I tested for this.

I can repeat this problem but only 'every now and than' not consistently.
Question for jv16: Could this be related to a reported HistoryCleaner start problem in build 986, "Error: Failed to access HistoryCleaner.xdat".
See: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4268&start=15#p26520 --> a Debug Log is attached at that post.

The order is important. If I omit step 2, it does not happen.
VADU wrotereinstalled with a complete cleaning and found the cause of this error ... it has something to do with the license file ... If this file is not (demo mode), then the program is working properly (meaning view information about the program via menu or via the F12) but after adding my license file when you view information about the program get an error ... how to fix it?
The license file: license.xbin must be copied to the installation directory of jv16PT2010 v2.0.0.986.
For any problems relating to the usage of the license file you can contact Macecraft via: http://www.macecraft.com/helpdesk/createticket/

Your right Tullik, step 2 makes the test consistent.
