:) Hi again. Thank you for your reply, JV. It certainly makes sense. It implies, however, that the PT Lite scan is too aggressive. As a next step, I ran the JV16 File Cleaner on aggressive mode, and still it did not list these folders. (Gee, I'm acting like a Beta tester.) I made several screenshots, but don't see how to upload them. This would mostly document my findings. There are 18 folders, all 7 days old except for one which is 13 days old. The several that I looked into were from the same company, Macrovision, which my ISP, I think, used to install its downloader and Norton Antivirus. PT Lite listed 8 of them. Their sizes range from zero bytes to 1.99 MB. There is a lot of duplication of file names from one folder to the next.
