In the Settings folder, there is a UserActionLog.txt log present. It is small, but it looks like it grows with each use of jv16. Can this file be safely deleted (say by CCleaner) without negatively impacting the operation of jv16? It gets re-created on each use of jv16 if it is deleted.

It probably has something to do with this planned PT2011 enhancement:

Tullik is correct, this file basically contains a log of everything the user does with PowerTools.

PowerTools 2011 will contain a tool that allows you to see what you have done with the tool, for example, whether you deleted a file called "foobar" on the first day of last month around six o'clock. And if you did, in which backup the file is located in.

Please consider an option to limit the size of this log file in PT 2011....either by size or by number of days to retain info.

Of course. This will be already included to the next build, the log file is trimmed automatically when the program is started. The trim occurs if the log file is more than 2 MB is size, during the trimming all data older than 30 days is removed. With PT 2011 there might be an option to adjust these variables (2 MB and 30 days).
