Hi,

I have PT2010 2.0.0.970 running on Vista 64 bit.

I would like to know why File Clenaer lists files (from C:\Windows\Temp) that they were created, modified and accessed very recently, yesterday, then they are 1 day old. This occurs with the "Agressive setting". In this setting the text explains that files with at least 5 to 10 days old will be leasted. The items of "Options" are all deselected.

Thanks for the comments.

Does this happen every time?

XP-Pro-SP3 with build 970

With aggressive settings for 'File Cleaner' it applies to the two edb.chk files + ~DFD688.tmp + ~DFD65B.tmp.

With standard settings it only applies to the files ~DFD688.tmp and ~DFD65B.tmp.

The 'explore' function shows that these temp files are alway's less than 1 day old!

Could you use the Column menu of the result window to bring up the Created and Last Modified dates of these files? I'm interested to see what PowerTools reads as the creation and last modified dates for these files.

I did what you requested but during the Colum Menu usage to insert the Creation and Last modified dates I got (surprise) an Application Errors screen with an Exception message : List index out of bounds (2). See Bugreport.txt

The attached .zip file contains:

-- 'File Cleaner'-> 2 Screen shots of the cleaner result list.

-- 'File Cleaner'-> 'Save list as' file of the cleaner result list.

-- Bugreport.txt

This should now be fixed, thanks for reporting! I'm still working on the original issue of the File Cleaner, I haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet.

My situation exactly and completely coincide with the 2 posts of Leonardo user and the issue is repetitive.

I was now able to reproduce the issue, I'm working on a fix.

The fix will be included to the next released build. The next build will be released later in this week.
