How to restore a snapshot backup

I could not figure out how to restore a previously created snapshot in the registry monitor of jv Powertools 2010.

The snapshot is shown in the registry monitor but not in the backup tool.

If there is no way to restore such a snapshot, what is it good for?

It's not possible to restore a registry snaphsot with the Registry Monitor tool. The tool is used to detect changes made to the registry since the creation of the snapshot.
