Hi all!

While downloading some files with Mozilla´s Firefox, which splits the download in two files (one which, after the download is completed, will be the file I wanted and alone during download a second file called the *.part file). After completion on my computer something went wrong. Normally the *.part files should be automatically deleted, but in my case it didn´t always.

So I have left now a few entries in a directory which I cannot delete (windows says that those file don´t exist anymore and are already deleted. But I see them in the directory-listing. Also wiping, defragmenting etc. does not solve the problem. Has someone an idea how to handle this? Could jvPT do this or do I need another software? I know after formatting the HD they are gone, but I do not want to format the HD right now.

Kind regards,

Hi Redseujac,

I´ve tried it, but sadly it doesn´t help.... :

FileAssassin quits with: "The file you have specified does not exist or is not visible to FileAssassin. Please select another file."

Thanx anyway!

Kind regards,
