What tools of jv16 PowerTools 2009 did you use exactly?
When you run Disk Wiper and abort the operation, it's possible large all or not fragmented files are left on the hard disk. It's not always easy to find those files for deletion. Also you can read this threads about it:

In one of those threads it appears Norton was the culprit.
When you run Registry Compactor some back-up files are left on the drives where the original storage files are located. To locate those files you can run jv16 PowerTools File Finder and do a search for "jv16pt_bak" (without quotes) and then let the tool delete the found files.
Also after running some other tools (Registry Cleaner, History Cleaner...) and you have choosen to let the program make back-ups of the fixed and/or deleted items, those back-ups are saved in the subdirectory \Backups of jv16 PowerTools.
There are some other temporary files created by the program wich are stored somewhere in the directory or subdirectories where the program is installed. Normally you can remove those files in jv16 PowerTools itself: look at Settings > Maintenance.
