This is on Windows 7 x64 Professional and Windows 7 x86 Professional. I suspect it occurs on all Windows.
After creating several desktop shortcuts for the various modules of jv16 via Tools>Add shortcut to Desktop for..., many of the modules do not properly exit after performing their function. Instead of exiting after they complete their task, they open the main window of jv16 Powertools.
I have submitted a couple of these via Bug Tracker. However, instead of testing each possible shortcut and submitting individually to Bug Tracker, I feel that this can be done in-house and corrected for each incident where the exit issue is found.
Here is an example,
1. Create a desktop shortcut for "Clean and Fix my Computer"
2. Close jv16 PT 2010
3. Start "Clean and Fix my Computer" via the desktop shortcut
4. Let CFMC fix items found.
5. Click on Close or the red X.
Instead of exiting, the main window of jv16 opens
