Problems after using "Clean and fix my computer"
laserfan wroteThanks very much jv16, you got my point, which the others missed. I apparently was fooled by the "quick initial check" vs. the more complete "Clean/Fix" check.
Glad to be of help. It seems that you are not alone fooled by this issue. While it's technically not a bug, I think we should address it somehow.
blizz26 wroteWhy change something if it isnt broke? Jv16 started going down hill after 2008. Im so glad I came here first before installing 2010. I have used this program since it was made and loved it. Now Im not so sure reading all this. Maybe this should stay a beta for a bit longer. When I heard "New Engine" I knew jv16 wasnt going to be the same anymore. I'll stick with 2007 for now.
I'm sorry but what on earth are you talking about? Did you even read this thread?
laserfan wrotePerhaps a simple note in the message area at the bottom of the screen, following the "quick initial check" which says "Quick check complete; for a more thorough analysis of PC and Registry Health run "Clean and fix my computer".
The problem is that the translation file does not contain such string, if I would add one all the translators had to update their translations. I don't know if this issue is worth all the trouble.
Thanks
Chick wroteI installed, remover and reinstalled JV16 2010 under Windows7 X64 Professional. I have also cleared the catch and restarted JV16 several times. Each time after using the clean Tool the PC Health and Registry Health Revert to 1%.
Have you used the tool's Fix or Delete buttons? Or, have you only run the tool without actually removing anything?
Chick wroteHas anyone come up with another fix or idea how far away the next release is?
The next build will be released later in this month.

Yes, I tried both the Fix & Delete buttons. Both take the status back to 1%

Could you please run the Clean and fix my computer in the debug mode, hit the Fix button for some item and then send over to me the Debug Log? Instructions for generating the Debug Log can be found here: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4112
