So far 2010 has worked well. The only problem has been I ran registry compacter with a reboot. It said it needed to finish the compaction when rebooted but Vista blocked it on reboot. When allowed it ran and finished OK.

What do you exactly mean by "Vista blocked it on reboot"?

I've also the feeling that something is wrong with the registry compactor. Both with an earlier RC and now with the final version I noticed two things:

1. Directly after using the registry compactor, Windows 7 "liability history section" shows that "windows is closed incorrectly" (see attachment). This has something to do with the restart instruction at registry compacting, I guess.

2. I noticed no reduction of sizes of the different hives at all!

Some comment from anyone?

Rgds,

When Vista rebooted there was the windows taskbar icon and warning saying it had blocked a program from running, There was also a very fast window that flashed up and closed when closing that lookedm like an errer warning. A second run (after doing a back up) didn't get any thing,
