jv16 It's on demand only. There would be no point in adding a system slowing real-time scanner to an utility suite like PowerTools. And, I personally hate those real time system slowers :
laserfan But...where is it? I checked the box to install it, and it did appear to download a antimalware0.dat file (not sure of the name, I can't find it anywhere on my PC), but there's nothing I can find in the UI???
rdtmk5 On the Home Page, select Verify my downloads are safe to run. Not completely intuitive, but it works.
laserfan Yes I found it. I noticed it only after I turned-off DEBUG mode which was I think a leftover from my 2009 install. I can't swear for certain that "Verify my downloads" wasn't there before, but I thought I'd looked at every clickable... :
