How Do We Disable The Window Fading?

I'm using 2010 RC1 and I would love to disable the window fading, it really drags slow and really slows it down sitting around waiting for a window to fade out.

I looked at the preferences and don't see anything, is there a way to disable this?

P.S. I'd be happy to give some feedback and bug reports on this, but with the speed it runs at now with all this fading going on, it's a pain to use this thing... :(

At the moment this is not possible. But I have made it possible to disable the window fadeout effect for the next build.

Edit Interface'.dat under the PowerTools' Settings directory. Under write WindowFadeOut=False

That's great I was hoping there would be an option.

If the 2010 RC that is out right now is the best the fading will work, then I'm here to tell it's not working good at all, very laggy/slow, it really takes a long time to fade and cause the whole computer to slow down and the program.

Oh at the moment it's not possible? So I can edit the interface.dat now and make that change and it should work?

Here's what I have in it:

Fade=False

OnClick=True

WindowFadeOut=False

I tried this but it's not working... :(

Well I don't see any option either in 2.0.0.961.

If there is an option I don't see if and if there isn't you should make one, this fade out effect is really slow. :(

I mean not just by editing the Interface.dat but making an option in the preferences for people to simply uncheck.

I'm afraid there is not enough room in the GUI to contain all the available options. If you want to disable this, you'll need to edit the file manually.

Or, if many others complain the same thing, then I can try to work out something else.
