And here is a somewhat humorous "Gotcha" caused by the jv16 Uninstaller. It goes unnoticed until the system is rebooted following a jv16 total uninstall.
1. Using Control Panel>Programs and Features, uninstall jv16. Select all items (everything) to be deleted. No reboot will occur following the total uninstall.
2. Once the uninstall is completed, install a new version of jv16.
3. After the initial setup is completed by jv16, close jv16.
4. Reboot the computer.
5. On reboot, the jv16 Powertools 2010 folder is gone from C:\Program Files (x86).
Apparently the uninstaller flagged this folder to be deleted on system reboot during the total uninstall in step 1.
On a total uninstall, the uninstaller needs to force a system reboot.
Update: I confirmed this by doing a total uninstall of jv16. C:\Programs Files (x86)\jv16 Powertools 2010 folder is present but empty after the uninstall. On reboot, the folder is removed.
