jv16 2009 registry cleaner doesn't work

Just reinstalled my computer after a crash. I am running Windows XP Pro 32bit SP3. I reinstalled jv16 with the license xbin. The only protection is the Windows firewall and I put jv16 into the program exception list.

When I run the registry cleaner I get all the errors listed (health status 98 percent). I click "fix" and confirm the backup option.It starts to run and then....NOTHING???? :(

What shall I do? The program just stops working and I am one of the old time fans of jv16 using it since the beginning . I would hate to stop using it and switch to something else.

Please help!

Anyway it should be better to post problems concerning jv16 PowerTools 2009 in the appropriate part of the forum: here.

You might have more chance somebody has a look at your post about PT2009.

This is a known bug in jv16 PowerTools 2009, I'm afraid.

The good news is that it should be already fixed in the latest beta version of jv16 PowerTools 2010, you can try it out from the beta section of this forum. Another good news is that the PT 2010 will be a free update to all registered users, no matter what version or product you have bought from us in the past.

Could you give me the link to the beta forum? I can't find it.

By the way, all the sudden, 2009 started to work again. No idea what happened...Eagerly waiting for the 2010 version.
