I believe that PowerTools Lite must include

a Tool for Registry Defragmentation.

More and more -FREE- Registry Cleaners

include Registry Defragmentation.

Take for example Chemtable.

It develops Registry Organizer which is Shareware.

Lately, it launched Registry Life which is Freeware,

and it includes a Tool for Registry Defragmentation

apart from the Registry Cleaner.

Many friends of mine switched to Registry Life

and left PowerTools Lite.

This wouldn't have happened if PowerTools Lite

had included a Registry Defragmentation Tool.

So, in the Next Update of PowerTools Lite,

please, think of these issues

if you don't want to fall back from your Competitors.

This topic has been discussed at length in relation to jv16. Given the plethora of available free registry defrag programs, there is basically nothing that jv16 can improve upon. I have been using NTREGOPT (available as freeware here: http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/) for years and find it to be the best program of its type. I highly recommend you give it a try.

I am aware of ERUNT.

-BUT-

you are STILL missing the issue:

<FREEWARE users Prefer

-Tools Combining Registry Cleaning+Defragmenting

over

-Tools that offer -ONLY- Registry Cleaning

OR

Tools that offer -ONLY- Registry Defragmenting>.

-What's the point of having -Two- (2) Different Tools

when you can have -BOTH- Tools (i.e. Registry Cleaning+Defragmenting) in a just a -Single- product?

Registry Life of Chemtable is an example of that.

-Billions of People use FREEWARE especially nowdays that

the World Economic Crisis made PC users to switch to FREEWARE.

-Why should I use PowerTools Lite

when other FREEWARE Tools offer both Registry -Cleaning- and -Defragmenting- in a Single product?

-Why is it so difficult to see that a Registry Defragmentation Tool

will make PowerTools Lite more appealing in the eyes of FREEWARE Users?

The feature will be most likely added to PowerTools Lite in the future. Perhaps later in this year.

Please add an uninstaller too.

Also, the registry life program is finding more items than pt lite.

Just an observation.

I don't see this feature to be added. The PT LIte is a lightweight Registry Cleaner, a software uninstaller feature is not registry cleaning per se. Registry Defrag is more or less.

Quantity does not mean quality. Lets see how it performs in the next comparison study.

Ok then. I was really looking for a regsupremePRO replacement, so maybe I'll try Revo uninstaller.

As for the registry cleaner, yes, I know it's always a trade off between quantity and quality.

Thanks.
