comparing jv 16 2008 with the 2009 version

i am afraid to use the 2009 version. is it that accurate and better than 2008? Please advise

comparing 2008 power tool version 1.80.457 with power tools 2009 version 1.909.590. i did double check the results

i compared the registry cleaner of the two versions with each other two different ways- Safest and 2nd Safest.

i think i found the discrepancy between the two programs. in the 2009 version i clicked on MRU and in the 2008 i did not.

i used 2008 to fix reg errors. it did it well. cleaned it and i double checked it. zero errors. then i used 2009 and it found no reg errors. i was expecting some additional reg errors. upon examining it further, that is when i discovered the MRU was clicked on.

this made me wonder- is there any difference between the two versions regarding the Registry Cleaner programs? does anyone know? thanks

Of course there is, PowerTools 2009 contains a much updated and improved engine which usually finds more errors than the previous versions.
