A scan using registry clearner came up with about 1,000 errors. When I ask the program to fix these errors, all it does is to run for about 2 seconds and then disappear. I can do this as often as I like, but the program refuses to fix the errors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program repeatedly and sometimes when I hit registry cleaner, it runs for a second or two and then says that have no errors. Other times, I run it and it comes back with close to 1,000 errors and then it refuses to fix any of the errors as described above. I have read the previous posts dealing with this problem and I see no reason why I should have to go into the registry and deal with arcane entries there in order for this program to work. If I wanted to get an advanced degree in computer science, I would have gotten one and then I wouldn't need this program -- what I thought I was buying was a program that would simply do what I paid it to do, i.e., check my registry and then fix the errors without a lot of tweaking by me. I am now stuck with a program thas is essentially worthless, since my main use for it is to check the registry for errors. It appears that I am not the only one having this problem -- I can only wonder how many people did not bother to even register their dissatisfaction, but simply bought another program that actually works. Which is what I am about to do. Any help would be appreciated.
