HI,

I want to say that with this latest update, it is now much easier to tell what is happening when the "fix" button in the Registry Cleaner is pushed. It is much clearer for me than any previous version of the 2009 model. I have had jv16 PowerTools for perhaps three years, and this one, with the latest update, seems best so far.

Thank you very much! We have worked a long time to fine tune and polish PowerTools 2009, and I am glad to hear it shows.

Our plan with PowerTools 2010 is to continue this road and not hastly add as many new tools and new graphics as possible.

I also want to add my admiration for the Finnish people (from what LITTLE history of Finland I know, to be honest). Your courageous stand against the Soviets in 1940-41, for example. I don't recall Finland ever having the reputation of being an aggressor, unlike many of your neighbors (am I wrong)?

I first encountered Finnish-Americans when I was a boy in northern Michigan, USA, where many Finn's had settled in the late 1800's and early 1900's and they and their descendants had worked in the iron mines and logging camps.

As long as you stay away from the dreaded "defragger" idea that keeps getting requested, then I'm OK with anything else you do to the next major version. That would be the deal-breaker for me, I think.

Well, all that happened a long time ago. I think that is all that I can say about it.

I first reported the following BugID 386436, on 30.05.2009. I have since downloaded the current version and past versions installing them over the version I was running, and still had the same bug problem. I reported this a second time. I went back and did a clean install of Version 1.9.0.590. I know that I should have done this the first time with installing a newer version. I think that I did try this on one of the earlier version after 1.9.580 but, this time it cleared up the problem. I can not recreate the problem again. Thank you for a great program, and looking forward to jv16 PowerTools 2010.
