Many small bugs fixed based on the very initial testing, I'm very pleased with the speed on how things are moving along.
The Anti-Malware feature requires a lot of computing power to create its heuristic database. We have a dedicated computer with 8 CPU cores working on that 24/7 and the system just finished yesterday, after a few hundred days of crunching numbers. That means it has analyzed all the malware samples we have and the heuristic database is ready for use. Thus, I'm hoping that the very first public beta version we release will be fully functional, even the Anti-Malware will be working right from the start.
The Anti-Malware feature's GUI still needs some work and some final optimization is needed to the actual engine itself to gain the optimal detection rate with minimal false positive rate. After that the Anti-Malware will be ready for testing.
Overall, all new features have now been implemented and roughly tested. I'll go through a few lists of feature requests and if I see any ideas that I like I'll try to get them in PT 2010 as well, but nothing major will be added at this stage. That's all for today, over and out.
