Maybe you can run PTLite in "Extended user interface" mode.
Then after clicking "Clean and fix my computer", you can enter "cnbabe" (without quotes) under the tab "Search words".
In the "Settings" maybe you can move the slider to the third dashes (counting from above): that's the "More aggressive than - normal - system scan policy". Windows related data is scanned then, but that doesn't matter because you do a selective scan only for those registry entries referring to the search word "cnbabe".
After all, there is no reason to panic because you can always undo the changes made to the registry with "Undo".
