No activity when clicking on Fix button

Today I installed the PowerTools Lite on my Vista Ultimate 32 system. However, when I select a few items on the list and click on the Fix button, there is no activity on the screen. I cannot understand if the cleaning process was successfully or not. The backup is created, but the items are still there. So I click again on the fix button, another backup will be cteated. Any comment please?

Could you please clarify "no activity on screen", do you mean the "Working" status panel does not show? Does the program ask if you want to create a backup? Before you click the Fix button, does the status bar (bottom of the window) say that there are items selected?

The "working" status panel appears correctly when searching. The program ask me to create backup after clicking the fix button. The selected items are shown correctly. I click the yes button and nothing happens. But the backup file is created.

EDIT: I tried it a few times without success. However the application seems to work fine now. :

Sorry, but the PowerTools Lite doesn't seem to work correctly on my system. I restarted the application and selected a few items to fix and nothing happened as I wrote before. But the backup file was there. So I closed and restarted again. The items -they should be deleted before- are still on the list.

PS: Adding the PTLite.exe to the exclusion list of my antivirus software doesn't help!
