Okay I used Disk Wiper the other day to clear free space. My HDD is only 80GB and I let it run for a few hours now this program kept writing and I decided ot stop it when it had like 100GB ?!?!?! whiped and I had no free space at all. Does this tool stop on its own or? When I ran it to jsut wipe free space on the HDD it seemed like it would NEVER stop even when it was like 100GB !?!?! into my 80GB HDD?

And I looked to the handbook on information on what it may do while its wiping but the handbook didnt seem to give too much of detail into it.

Depending on how much hard drive space is available this can take a very long time (around 6 hours+ here). That is, it will actually stop all on its own but you might want to run it overnight. I'm not sure of this but I suspect once the file writing exceeds the amount of hard drive space available JV Powertools simply starts to repeatedly overwrite what it has already written. This would be to ensure the drive actually is wiped, and is in keeping with secure file deletion protocols.
