jv16 Thank you for sending the debug log! I still can't be 100% sure I know what caused the problem but I have a good idea what causes the problem and the issue should now be fixed. The fix will be included to the next released version due out later in this month. I'll most likely release a preview version of it before so you can get that and verify that the problem is fixed.

allewelt2 I have tried the test version: Sorry, no success. May be it is for a 64bit system. If you minimize the window of the QSA or of the registry scan, the system freezes and begins to flicker. No hope?

djo1919 I have news, I updated to version 1.9.0.552 and found that the cleaner works to completion every time with repeatable results as long as the engine is set for maximum safety/low speed. If any other speed setting is chosen then it still hangs while finishing analysing. I'm using XP pro SP3.

hillbillycj I also have the problem with both 1.9.0.550 and 1.5.0.552 on both XP Pro SP3 and Windows 2000 SP4 with Rollup to SP4. It's like the program gets stuck in a never ending loop going between the advanced messaging and the main window (the flicker), and is completely unusable. I have gone back to 1.9.0.540 which was the last stable version. :
jv16 I think I finally located and fixed this annoying little problem. Thank you all who reported it! I'll probably send you a private test build to verify the issue is really fixed once and for all.

boofo Run your mouse over the right or left area key on the second window and that is the flicker I think everyone is talking about. The flicker is still there in the new build.
erkki103 I am wondering, why I have not got the upgrade from (2007 > 2009) 1.7 to 1.9.0.550, although I have paid it? Who knows? erkki103
