reg clean problem jv162009 1.9.0.540

I ran reg clean in this version of jv162009 and thousands of errors were marked in a category I hadn't seen before: "incorrect permissions or owner."

I checked the website forum and it was reassuring that this category was new and fix should be used.

But, ever since I "fixed" these errors I've had system problems with programs that had worked flawlessly before.

1. Word for windows (2003) started shutting down when I used a hot key previously associated with cut and paste. The log showed winword was terminated. I repaired the installation and now it works fine.

2. Other programs needed repair.

3. Now pkzipc (which I use in a daily incremental backup script) crashes when it's archiving my system drive. This never happened before.

I realize that this may all be coincidental, but the exception code (0xc000005) is associated with permission problems on google searches.

Any suggestions?
