JV16 PT vers 1.90.540 and Vista 64

Hello all:

Just upgraded to this version from JV16 2008. No ability to do anything with registry tools is available---and UAC is off, and program is trusted through security (kaspersky).

Any workarounds, ideas or thoughts?

Jenna, I'm also on Vista 64 (a fairly new user, so I thought it might

just be my mistake). This is my first try at jv16. The symptom I get

is the "Failed to gain full read and write access to the system registry

..." message from jv16. I am logged on as a system administrator and

ran jv16 as an administrator from the shortcut. I also tried disabling

my antivirus program. I still get the message. Is that what you see?

The only workaround is to go back to a previous version of the product, although that version can only access the 32 bit registry of your 64 bit system. Another option would be to wait for the next version which will be fully 64 bit Windows compatible, as in it runs on 64 bit Windows and can access both the 32 bit and 64 registry views.
