Registry Cleaner, structured list, error category confusion

Two "confusion" symptoms:

  • 1. Text (e.g., Recent File List) in an "Obsolete software entry" item causes the program to categorize the item incorrectly as an "MRU" item.

    2. Perhaps as a result of that, a category caption bar shows "Error relating to blanks."

RegEdit of obsolete item:

Structured scan with MRU:

Structured scan without MRU:

Here's an Entries.reg of the Mindscape items and a more complex results window showing the same phenomena.

This problem is now fixed, thank you for reporting! The fixed version will be released in next week.

. . .

Symptom 2 no longer happens for this situation.

Symptom 1 still occurs, but in a slightly different manner. Namely:

  • *** If the MRU scan is part of the scanning, the "Obsolete software entry" item with the "Recent File List" key still is not grouped with the rest of its structure. It still appears in the MRU category. However, its error description is now "Useless registry entry."

*** If the MRU scan is not part of the scanning, the "Obsolete software entry" item with the "Recent File List" key is still not grouped with the rest of its structure. In fact, it is not listed anywhere. Furthermore, the list can then contain an empty "MRU and other history data" category pane.
