Could someone else with XP see if the feature is working? I'm asking this to see whether this is a generic problem, or if it only occurs on Ulysses' system.

In v.1.9.0.528 on my XP Pro system, the "Open with" and "Search" menu tabs are both empty. They are not empty with v.1.8.

Both are empty on mine, with v.1.9.0.528 Vista Ultimate SP1 32bit.

I mentionned the problem on 4 feb 2009 and received the trackid N4T931SH7F, is there a follow-up of this trackids?

I have exactly the same problem on an XP SP3 system updated to the latest version a few days ago.

in my Vista x32 Business edition. I only got the Business edition because I dont need the extras in the other editions.

Does jv16 intend to correct this error? And if not, clarify why?

Confirmed - problem occurs with 2009 on my WinXP Home machine (2008 returns a long list of items). Also, Search menu returns nothing in 2009, but returns 8 items in 2008.

The installation of version 531 does not resolve the current problem.

Is it that difficult to restore a function to its previous working version?

With version 1.0.9.531 these "Open with" and "Search" menu tabs are still empty, so NOT fixed
