V 1.9.0.528 doesn't automatically elevate under Vista x64

When starting version 1.9.0.528 under Vista x64, jv16 doesn't prompt for elevation and complains

: Failed to gain full read and write access to the system registry! Please verify the security settings of your system, this program cannot perform any registry features (for example the Registry Cleaner) without full registry access!

If memory serves, the 2008 version did automatically ask for elevation.

Have you tried to run the program as Administrator? Right click jv16 PowerTools 2009 and choose "Run as Administrator"...

I have and that does work; modifying the shortcut to always run as Administrator (Shortcut > Advanced) would solve the problem in practical terms. However, Vista allows the application manifest to specify that elevation is required which would save me some configuration and less experienced users some head scratching.
