Various observations v.1.9.0.537 (siliconman06)
* Registry Cleaner:
*** When I first started to test, while attempting to remove a single line from the list, the program hung (not responding; no cpu use). The main window was affected the same way. The windows could be minimized and restored. When restored, the main window had no content, just white space. The X button caused Windows "not responding" pop-up to appear. This happened when I first started testing. It did not recur when I resumed the testing.
*** It still says C:\hiberfil.sys does not exist.
*** As you said, select all and select none from menu don't work right; neither do CTRL+A and CTRL+N.
*** Also as you said, only use of the checkboxes changes the selected counts in the error category panes and in the status bar.
*** Double clicking a category pane does an expand or collapse of the category's lines. IMO, this is a good thing.
*** A line's or category's context menu does not show unless at least one line anywhere in the list has its checkbox marked.
*** However, you can't get the context menu for a line which actually has a marked checkbox.
*** You can operate on a line in the list from its context menu, for example, delete or remove from list. Usually the line stays highlighted and the operation succeeds. Sometimes, you lose the highlighting and the operation does nothing or produces the message saying you need to select at least one item. The line(s) actually selected elsewhere in the list via checkboxes are apparently not affected by the operation.
*** I say "apparently" because the highlighted, unchecked line whose context menu you thought you were working with actually affected the checked line elsewhere in the list. That line stayed on the list but its registry item was deleted and backed up. The line you thought you were working with dropped from the list. But sometimes, neither item drops from the list nor is backed up nor deleted.
*** We seem to have a "local within category" select, which is not reflected in the status bar and category pane selected counts. However, the totals in both places remain true when lines are removed or items are deleted (I didn't do a "fix" operation).
*** When I attempted additional tests along these lines, the program again entered the same type of hang condition described at the top of this list, so I stopped testing.
