BTW, what is a full scan?

Apparently it can only be done with the options in the "Engine settings" tab. The scan report below is from the most conservative setting there.

The "Registry health score" is 1/100 in the scan report, but the "Registry Health" from the "Quick system analysis" is 97/100. There must be a problem with some calculation somewhere . . .

Shown below is a StartUp Manager from Yamicsoft's Vista Manager V2.0.2 for 64-bit Vista. It shows all items properly, whereas PT 2009 does not....as has been the case since Beta 1.

It seems that the history cleaner could not remove some windows related logs .

I am not sure if this is a normal behaviour of the program .

The last thing I noticed is pretty minor, but I will mention it. On the Main Screen by the Health Meters, the "Registry Health" line is cut off. It looks like it says "Reaistrv Health".

For some reason, the Quick Launch and Programs PT 2009 icon has straightened itself out...mysteriously on installing the new version of Vista Manager. Just installing Vista Manager changed something in favor of PT 2009's icon. Perhaps something in the RC1 installer is not correctly setting up something? OR the false start with the original RC1 left something trashed in the registry or ....

I have already done the Dutch translation for RC1.

There's a serious issue in Registry Cleaner.

When running the translated version it's not possible to launch Registry Cleaner.

When clicking "Start" nothing happens.

Next "Selected setting" > "lblEngineSettingLegend" appeared instead of the normal text (see attached image).

Sometimes the English text appeared there instead of the translated text.

Moving the choice slider up/down brings back the translated text in both cases, but anyhow it remains impossible to launch the tool.

Changing back to the English language is the only way to fix the problem.

In the title bar (header) of Registry Information, sometimes appears "Debug data: 5350/3496" instead of the real title and if that title is present it's not translated (remains in the English language).

I think it's a windows thing (perhaps just Vista? -- but XP has similar symptoms sometimes). There's an icon cache file it uses somewhere in your userid's "documents and settings." Sometimes it gets either full or corrupted and some icons don't show properly, if I recall what I read some time ago. Sometimes I have to use a shortcut's properties window to force it to get the correct icon. I think you can even delete the icon cache file -- the opsys just makes a fresh one (again, if memory serves). I don't remember the file's name, but you can probably google for it. Excuse the verb. Anyway, the issue seems to go away eventually, until there it is, back again.

Confirmed!

Look at the registry health score (attachment) while the score from Quick System analysis was 83/100.

The Filter tool (CTRL+ALT+F) is merely visible (stretching through the other text)

Some icons in System Cleaner are not wel designed.

They are not meaningful enough, because they don't indicate clearly their purpose: e.g. delete files, flush or empty directories.

Besides, the icons for empty/flush directories are identical though they have not and identical purpose.

It is likely there is an upper limit on the length of some "fields." If the limit is exceeded, the program may be overlaying (corrupting) its data as it does its thing.

You could test this theory by artifically (and temporarily) truncating appropriate parts of your Registry Cleaner translation so they are not longer than the corresponding English text. If you can then start the Registry Cleaner, the theory is proven. Possible solutions would include terser translations, or probably extensive program changes.

This is by design, if user selects that the window must not pop up, it's not possible to show the Scan Report window (i.e. showing it would cause a popup).
