I just downloaded the trial version because I am getting 'installation error 0x80040707'

I have not used your product, but I am concerned that if I change the register, and I make a backup, and something happnens, how do I restore the backup?

have you ever heard of error 0x80040707'? I added more memory and then I got the error.

I was trying to run Partition Magic which I had been using for over a year, then I added the memory, and now I can not access Partition Magic and access to the partition is not available.

The product automatically creates a backup of pretty much anything you change or delete with it, and you can restore the backups using the product's Backup Tool.

As for your problem, if your problem started after adding more memory then it's most likely relating to that, I doubt no software can fix that. Either the memory is invalid, there's a compatibility issue with the new memory and the mother board / old memory / chipset etc.

The easiest way to fix the problem is simply remove the new set of memory.
