Is the virusscanner the culprit? What happens if you disable that scanner?

Hello,

I will try this as soon as possible (at work now)

I have excluded JV16 from the virusscanner, and JV16 itself say's at startup not to have any problems with the system.

So I do not think it's the problem but I will try

Thanks

The virusscanner (avast) is not the issue, hope JV16 can look into this.

I honestly have no idea why, but a Scan Report is now presented after nearly every Registry Scan. I've done nothing to either my system or PowerTools. Strange, but appreciated.

I can now reproduce this problem. Upon starting the program, if I wait for the health indicators to stop moving (i.e., arrive at their final positions) before starting Registry Cleaner, I'll get a Scan Report when Registry Cleaner completes its scan AND I'm able to correct all identified problems the first time. If I start Registry Cleaner before the health indicators have stopped moving, I will not get a Scan Report and Registry Cleaner rarely, if ever, repairs the identified problems the first time. Strange, but at least I know what NOT to do.

Well, I think it's quite normal behaviour to wait until the gauges finish (their job) :

I must agree with you, sir!
