Registry Cleaner Scan Report
Advanced options
Do you always run Registry Cleaner the same way, or do you use different "named preferences" sometimes? If you do it with different preferences, examine the Advanced options
rdtmk5 wroteIt appears that now a Registry Cleaner Scan Report is never generated. ...
One thing that can cause this is when the setting below is set to False.
A setting in C:\Program Files\jv16 PowerTools 2008\Settings\RegCleaner.dat:
Show=True
An inadvertent click on the Scan Report's "Don't show…" box can cause it to change to False.
Show=True
After a first registry cleanup the report does not show. When I select all errors and fix them, not all the errors are fixed.
The second time I run the registry cleaner the report does show after the scan and fixes all errors correct.
Hope this helped
Does it resolve the issue if you uncheck "Also show extended information (for advanced users)" under Settings>Messaging?
It appears to be allways on the first regclean, when I do a computer reboot again the first time it does not show.
And when the report does not show, regcleaner does a bad job fixing or removing the errors.
I use the Avast virusscanner on both machines, its the only thing they have in common.
One vista and one XP.
