Ran File Cleaner in lastest version. It developed an endless loop once I had selected files for deletion that it could not access. It kept trying to delete them and telling me it could not access them.

I had to abort, then uncheck the affected files before it would complete deletions without going into an endless loop.

Normally it just tells me it cannot access certain files (daily temp files from firewall and the name changes daily) because they are in use. It then stops on it's on and I will then uncheck the affected files and tell it to delete all others.

Basically same problem that siliconman01 had with the registry cleaner.

Now go have a great day.

With File Cleaner, I have the same problems of wonkabear.

I attach the Debug log file (after 5 minutes of work of File Cleaner).

I hope that will be useful to fix the issue.

This problem was introduced by the fix of the "partial list processing" bug, therefore it exists in all the main tools of the product. But thank you for reporting, the bug is now fixed!

v.1.8.0.468

This issue seems to be fixed. It tried to delete an open file four times (or so the error messages might so indicate), but did not loop beyond that.
