In Cleaner, Scan, Select "All", and Fix are my standard, no expertise commands. I expect that all errors found are highlighted by "All", which they seem to be, and then Fix should fix all errors and confirm the fix with a return to "0's" where errors were indicated. I believe that the return to "0's" became problematic in 2007 and now again in 2008 with some periods of perfect execution. Is PowerTools sabotaging PowerTools or is it me and my system? Thanks.

You're not alone, grunze. My installation of Power Tools 2008 periodically does the same thing. Occasionally, I have to go through the Fix process several times before all errors are addressed. I guess I've resigned myself to this behavior, even though I should expect more from a package I paid for. Fortunately, the end result is a machine that runs better than new.

I believe the problem you describe is an unresolved bug in PT2008 (and also in PT2007). Namely:
