I have a real problem with the new ICON for jv16 2008. It's the most non-descript un-memorable thing I've seen. The lightbulb told a story, and was perfect!

I'm getting old, unnecessary change is discombobbulating! :?

How can I go about changing the ICON on jv16 PowerTools 2008 to the old one that is easy to find?

Which icon do you mean?

The one that looks like a monitor with a gear in the upper left corner.

I had to enlarge the icons in my quick access bar to be able to discern that fact, I usually have the 'View' set to small ICONS. Recognition is tougher with small icons. The old lightbulb icon told a story and was instantly recognizable even as a small ICON.

That icon hasn't changed in jv16 PowerTools 2008 (compared to jv16 PowerTools 2007).

You can change the icon, at least with Vista, by right-clicking the icon, select Properties, and then click Change Icon... button.

That doesn't matter in this case, you can still change the icon.

It's very simple: create a new shortcut and change it's icon to the one you like best.
