Iam using WinXP with SP2 and all patches are applied. The windows is clean installed and with the latest drivers. The problem is, i cant even click the buttons and menus on the regsupreme pro v1.1 or v1.2. So what is the problem? how to solve it? cant compatible? ??????? can someone show me the fix?

Do you have the Data Execution Prevention enabled? See: http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=290

I, too, am having a problem with RegSupreme Pro, v1.2. It ran fine till I registered it, and then it does not respond! Anhwhere I click on the window, I get no response.

I added the program to Data Execution Prevention and rebooted with the same result!! If I right-click on the program on the taskbar and select , it will exit without a problem (weird!)

I am running Windows XP with all updates. This is quite frustrating as the program worked great till I paid for it!!

Any help would be appreciated. :

i have the same problem. with data execution prevention disabled. i also notice it starts rebuilding the cache immediately every time it's run.

Seems the most strange. What anti-virus software do you use and could you try to disable it just to test whether the program works then?

I can't re-produce any problems with or without a license on any test computers.

maybe it was an intermittent glitch, or maybe just my imagination as it doesn't seem to be happening now. i use avast home edition, and i tried disabling and enabling it and no glitch...today anyway.

I am using AVG Free Edition as my virus scanner. I disabled it but I still get the same result. Also, I can close the program easily from the task bar by right clicking and selecting exit. How about uninstall & reinstalling? What will that do to my license?

since this problem exists but not solved yet, i suggest the author need to re-code the interface but leave the scan engine part alone. this seems troublesome but may only a way to fix it.

Hi,I'm back again.

Don't want to stir up any trouble :) but have any of the

posters checked Task Manager for CPU and Memory usage?

Not being able to click any buttons, indicates to me that

the program is unresponsive.(No brainer :) )

It is quite conceivable that the runaway Memory problem that

I mentioned in the post "RegSupreme Resource hungry?" is

affecting some users to actualy "freeze" the program.

I didn't for me,but then again,I exited the program before

it happened.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

Pete.

i'm having the same problem! After run the program he freezes on the window "To optimize the performace and the registry cleaning..." but i can't click in the "ok" button...

Is strange beacause the program don't stop to respond... in the list of application he appears "executing"...

Is a bug? or incompatibility with my operation system? (windows XP SP2)

Hi,

I have information from a very reliable source -JV the developer - that there will be an interim update of RegSupreme Pro.

I don't know if it will be posted on the website indicating this, but it is supposed to come out tomorrow Monday 26 SEP 05 or Tuesday.

I would suggest waiting untill then.

Also I would suggest uninstalling the previous version

and start fresh.

Whether or not it will solve your particular problem,I don't

know,but some bugs were fixed.

So check back later.

Hope this helped a little.

Cheers,

Pete.
