Randomly and more frequently than not both on Vista SP1 and XP-SP3, the column widths are not adjustable at the end of a registry cleaning and other element completions. By closing the lower information window, the columns become adjustable.

Will this bug concerning column widths not being adjustable be fixed in the next release?

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem but I had an idea what could cause this. Please try the next released version, it might solve this problem.

Good Day,

This problem occurs when using Registry Cleaner in raw listing mode.

Then can Not sort by the column headers, & can Not resize the colums....

This problem still exists on 1.8.0.460 intermittently (in about 95% of Reg Cleaner runs), & I have Not yet found a workaround.....

Thank You,

Best wishes,

Roberta

Closing the lower display window will make the column widths moveable.

This problem still exists on Vista SP1 Business with 1.8.0.466

And it still exists with the new 1.8.0.466 in Win XP Pro SP2 & SP3..... :( :

It will be fixed if I ever find a way to reproduce the problem. After the next version is released, could you run the product in Debug Mode and produce the problem in your computer and then send me the debug log? I could see if there is anything strange in the debug log.

Like I said, since I cannot reproduce the problem... and it only affects a very small number of users

That's strange Jouni, because also Tullik (read his posts in this thread) and myself and also other users have reported that annoying problem repeatedly.

It's not quite right it only affects "a very small number of users", on the contrary I think it affects many users.

So Roberta is right asking the fix of that issue.

From what I am experiencing on both my Vista SP1 Business computer and XP-SP3 computers, the problem occurs if Settings>Messaging>Also Show Extended Information (for advanced users) is checked.

This bottom window causes the problem to exist...at least from what I see on my systems.

With the option Settings>Messaging>Also Show Extended Information (for advanced users) unchecked, the column width problem does not occur in 466 or 467 on XP-SP3 or Vista SP1.

Does anyone else find that unchecking the above stated option results in the column width adjustment always working okay?
