Just updated to V 455

Using reg cleaner in the aggressive setting, with XP pro sp 2 & all current updates.

After problems were found I was not able to sort with any of the columns this feature works in V 466. Also still has problem will not delete all the errors found. These errors are classified as medium, no error code is offered but the error is identified as

Failed to remove "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT etc etc Windows core returned the following error. "Invalid key"

Prior to releasing an update are they not tested or are their just a few people having problems. I will be re-installing V 466 until another update is released.

Update: I tried using the fix option it didn't work as well. I also tried using reg edit to delete the key but got an error & was not able to delete the key, I closed jv16 just in case the program had the file locked ?? but was unable to delete it.

Sorry, we encountered an error while displaying this content. If you're a user, please try again later. If you're an administrator, take a look in your Flarum log files for more information.

455 is totally unusable for me. Still has blue blank screen problem that has been reported since version 449. 449 does work okay for me but all other versions since 449 have had this problem for me. Are these beta version that are being released?

Thanks for reply tullik

Closing the message box worked I am able to sort the colums.

Tried deleting the reg entries using reg edit I checked permission levels I have full permission. The keys that V455 won't delete are all referenced to " C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9d.ocx" looking in this folder their is no Flash9d.ocx but their is a Flash9e.ocx I copied this file to another diectory renamed it to Flash9d.ocx & moved it back tried deleting the files in jvc16 still didn't work tried in reg edit didn't work as well.

I don't want to put these files on the ignore list, if their is a problem with the files I want them gone.

I previosly stated i would go back to V 466 I meant V 446 I missed downloading V 449 as posted by ranger bob so don't know if this file will work for me.

Will look on the site to see if older version are available if they are will try 449 if not going back to 446

Well, if windows RegEdit can't delete it, then I think PT can't either (it uses windows APIs to do its work).

Perhaps Adobe (Macromedia) has something running in the background that has exclusive control of one of its keys.

You could try deleting the items you don't want with RegEdit in safe mode (backup your registry first with a Restore Point or other method). If they still won't delete, you could ask Adobe for help ...
