1.8.0.451 Registry Cleaner Bugs on Vista SP1

Running Vista SP1 Business. Build 451 Registry Cleaner in Raw Mode...Aggressive and Normal. Apparently Build 451 has not been tested/vetted on Vista SP1 system. :?

1. Registry Cleaner columns cannot be adjusted.

2. Finding hundreds of keys for deletion that error out when deletion is attempted....same as Build 449. Build 446 does not find these keys.

3. Blanks out ~2" section of display with using vertical or horizontal scroll bars.

4. Not deleting all selected items at one time. Have to rescan or Delete multiple times. This occurs when there a many items to delete.

Confirmed...

All those keys are found by "File reference scan".

They cannot be fixed/removed because "Windows core returned -> "Invalid key", etc.

I am wondering indeed why those keys are found now and not in earlier versions.

Besides it's useless because they cannot be deleted/fixed after all.

I think it's a BUG.

Those entries shouldn't be found with my "Engine settings":

Normal registry cleaning policy, all Windows related data is skipped for additional safety

Well, it looks like those entries are "Windows related data"...

IMO, not really ...

they are "does not exist" cases, and are

more "installation of Windows components data"

I think they are just debris left behind by Microsoft ...

Hey guys,

I was cleaning out my laptop registry. The raw list started out OK, but as I worked the list, most of the list problems reported by siliconman01 (and others) appeared.

Then I closed the message box -- most, maybe all, of the issues went away. :

As I worked the list, I'd get a new message and the problems came back. I'd close the box, and they went away again.

Over and over again …

Give it a try and see if it does it for you ... :

Added note: it happened almost everytime on my XP Pro; it happens only some of the time on my Vista …
