Registry Cleaner Settings-window stays maximised

Hello,

After I maximised the settings window of RC, now I am unable to reduce it again. In the upper right corner I only get the "Minimize" and the "Close" icon. And in the minimized window there is only the "Close" icon.

So ... : - is this a "bug" ?

Any help is welcome.

Hello Redseujac,

- I Started RCleaner and got the Settings-window as small window

- after maximizing this window in full srceen

- it is not possible anymore to restaure the initial (small) size.

And as I said in my first message, there are some icons missing ... :

Hello Redseujac,

Well, a restart of Windows brought Registry Cleaner window back to the normal (small) size.

And now I found also the way I produced this anormal behaviour.

I opened Registry Cleaner from the main window,

minimized the Settings-window, by clicking on the "Minimize" icon (in the upper right corner).

After finishing some work in a second opened window,

with a right-click on the minimized RC-window I brought up the default Windows context menu,

where I did choose the "Maximize" option instead of "Restore".

So I got the RC-window in full screen, with no possibility - even closing PowerTools - to get back the initial (small) size of the RC-window.

As I said only a restart of Window did the reset.

I am curious if you can reproduce this as well.

No, I cannot...

Because after minimizing the RC window, the context menu (after right clicking on the minimized window) shows "maximize" in grayed out characters, so clicking on it does nothing at all. I am only allowed to click on "restore".

Maybe, that's typical for Vista Ultimates explorer? I shouldn't know...

In my Vista Business, it is as redseujac said.

In my XP Pro, I could reproduce the problem. I recovered from the problem by changing Windows.dat.

Namely, under , I made Max=True be Max=False. :

Well, I noticed that in my Windows.dat under the setting was Max=false (by default (?))

May be this would be one reason to change from XP to Vista :
