I only want to add this to the discussion.
I think my warnings are appropriate.
Indeed the posters of those links don't have the intellectual fairness to explain the users they're linking to "unofficial" installers, i.e. to installers not included in the "official" original software distributed by Macecraft Software.
On the contrary, by posting and recommending those links here, at the very own support forum of Macecraft Software, they could (want to?) give the impression to ignorant users that these are downloading the "official" original files distributed by Macecraft Software and that is NOT true.
In fact they use misleading terms/expressions as "new" "improved" installers (i.e. the "unofficial" installers they're linking to) against "old" installers (i.e. included in the "official" original Macecraft software).
The users have the right to know, must know, that they don't download the original installers as they are included in the programs distributed by Macecraft and that those so called "new" or "enhanced" or "improved" installers are not supported by Macecraft.
Hence, I will continue warning the users each time some forum users are posting those links to "unofficial" installers at our forum.
