I understand that it takes extra effort to continue to support the Win 98SE operating system. I know it is 'obsolete' as far as most of the computing world is concerned. Thing is, Win 98 is what's on my computer, and I use my computer every day to help support my family. I'll need to replace the entire computer in order to upgrade to a newer OS, and my finances will not allow me to purchase a new computer at this time. I count myself VERY lucky every time one of my most valued programs, such as jv16 PowerTools, continues to support this OS. I do, however, understand and recognize that the programs that support Win 98 are becoming fewer and fewer.
My point is, when jv16 2008 was released, if Win 98SE was no longer listed as a compatible program, I wouldn't have purchased the upgrade license; instead, I would have continued to use the 2007 version, and still counted myself lucky that this program works on my OS at all.
Since jv16 2008 is no longer in Beta, and crashes my computer every time I try to use it, I guess I'll just go for the refund. Does anyone know how I go about doing that? I submitted a message via the online support form, but received neither an acknowledgment nor an answer. Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks!
