The file context menu is not centered under "file" the way it should be. See attachment.

Confirmed on Vista Business with Aero. When Registry Manager, Registry Monitor, Registry Compactor, Files Tools, Directory Tools, and History Cleaner window is maximized.

That's a pity :(

As you could see above, I do not have that problem with Vista Ultimate :)

But it looks like your "Age" column is very very wide...

Where are the software entries? I can't see them because of the width of that "age" column.

Is it really necessary to widen that column that much? It should only contain the very short words "new" or "old"...

It does not happen when the window is not maximized.

It also happens in PT2007 when the window is maximized.

I played around with the window size and made the columns smaller and the problem seems to have gone away.

Thanks.

BTW redseujac you are correct and I agree that the age column doesn't need to be that wide but what you are seeing is the default setting. I did not widen it as you seem to suggest. Also the software entries are to the right of the age column

Well, I never keep using the default settings if they aren't suitable...

I immediately narrow the columns if necessary.

Besides, in many windows it's really not necessary to maximize them or keep them maximized :

Redseujac,

You are correct again and I don't :

I fiddled with the column widths on both my XP-Sp2 system and Vista system...narrowed them down to 1/2 inch wide. As long as the window is maximized, the problem occurs. Minor annoyance, but a 100% repeatable occurrence.

Why maximize that window?

Is that really necessary?

When ya get older, bigger is better....eyes. Didn't spend money for a big FPD with the intent of viewing little windows :

Redseujac,

Why are you being so combative about this? It is minor and it is repeatable so why not just fix this in the new release?

It's not a big deal and I can live with it but...Just wondering.... :?
