Build 446 freezes

Build 446 freezes while running registry cleaner. It never completes the scan, it stops with 1 (one) engine running. I can press abort after about 10 (ten) minutes. That ends the scan but there is nothing that can be done with the results, nothing can be selected, nothing can be deleted. What is wrong and how can it be fixed?

I have attempted to run this program 10 times and the results are the same - it finally has to be ended through Task Manager. jv16 2007 works just fine, 2008 doesn't.

Running XP pro SP2, AVG pro, Outpost pro v4.

Well, it finally worked.

Does this version not create a registry cache as prior versions did?

The Quick system analysis also creates the Cache.

I encounterred the same error only during the "File reference scan".

PT2008 freezes and only thru the Taskmanager, PT2008 can be stopped.

Running XP professional at latest microsoft update level.
